个人简介
Seyed Ali Ahmadi received the B.Sc. degree in geomatics engineering and the M.Sc. degree in remote sensing from the Faculty of Geodesy and Geomatics, K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015 and 2017, focusing on remote sensing image classification and segmentation techniques, machine learning algorithms, and LiDAR data processing. His thesis was focused on classifying hyperspectral and LiDAR datasets by combining spectral and spatial features in order to increase the classification accuracy. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, focusing on remote sensing change detection and damage assessment methods for damaged buildings after various disasters, such as earthquakes and floods.
He is currently a volunteer Reviewer in multiple journals. His research interests include but are not limited to airborne LiDAR point cloud processing, spaceborne LiDAR applications, hyperspectral image analysis, remote sensing image super-resolution, data fusion, and optical engineering of satellite sensors and for these studies, he has utilized machine learning, deep learning, image processing, and computer vision techniques in his works.
