Seung-Won Jung

Seung-Won Jung (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He was a Research Professor with the Research Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Korea University, from 2011 to 2012. He was a Research Scientist with the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Yongin-si, South Korea, from 2012 to 2014. He was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Multimedia Engineering, Dongguk University, Seoul, from 2014 to 2020. In 2020, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Korea University, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles in international journals. His current research interests include image processing and computer vision. He received the Hae-Dong Young Scholar Award from the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers in 2019.
