Seokhoon Kim

Seokhoon Kim (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering from Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. From 2004 to 2006, he was with IPOne, Inc., Seoul, where he led various projects as a Research Engineer. From 2006 to 2009, he was a Research Engineer with Neowave, Inc., Anyang, South Korea, where he developed Mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16) devices. He was an Associate Professor with the Department of Mobile Communications Engineering, Changshin University, Changwon, South Korea. Since March 2016, he has been with the Department of Computer Software Engineering, Soonchunhyang University, Asan, South Korea, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include comprise cloud and mobile edge computing, Internet of Things, heterogenous Internet of Things, software defined networking and network function virtualization, mobile system and communications, and machine learning based on Big data.
