Research Interest
My research interest lies in computer vision and machine learning. Particularly, the purpose of my research is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge machine learning research and real-world problems thereby providing practical solutions. With this goal in mind, my current research focuses on (1) On-device learning for evolving AI, (2) Bridging domain gaps for person re-identification, (3) Towards robust visual perception in the real world: Object detection, tracking, and segmentation, (4) Visual analysis of humans: action, pose, face, and gait, and (5) 2D & 3D Computer Vision: From traditional hand-crafted features to deep learning-based approaches.
