Licensed clinical and developmental psychologist specializing in the identification and treatment of neurodevelopmental and medical disorders and their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral sequelae. I have previously conducted research on neurocognitive and behavioral development, emphasizing the interface of genetic, molecular, and environmental influences on developmental trajectories of attention, memory, and executive function; and now develop and direct the cognitive and behavioral change components of pediatric clinical trials research. Past projects include the development of cognitive and behavioral regulation in underserved and socioeconomically challenged youth; neuropsychological development in HIV/ARV exposed youth; adaptation following chemotherapy and radiation for pediatric cancers; pediatric epilepsies; neurodevelopmental trajectories in NF-1; and sleep disorders. I also served as a clinical ethicist and medical-legal consultant, with expertise in executive functioning, advocacy, and capacity for self-determination and competency.
