Thomas Schrader

Thomas Schrader is a certified pathologist and computer scientist. He studied medicine and medical informatics in Berlin and worked in Pathology Departments in Magdeburg, Bad Saarow and Berlin. Between 2002 and 2009 he was responsible for several scientific projects in telepathology and scientific data management. The development of an ontology about data and image quality was one result of the project Open European Nephrology Science Center funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. He has a professorship in Medical Informatics at University of Applied Sciences in Brandenburg/Havel, Germany. His scientific area covers patient safety, medical process analysis, telemedicine, and biosignal processing.
