个人简介
My research mainly focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of microRNA, circRNA, and lncRNA molecules in animal/cellular models of Parkinson's disease (PD). I am examining their potential roles in several pathological manifestations induced by PD-inducing toxicants. I am also exploring the therapeutic and diagnostic potential of these regulatory molecules to improve the management of various multifactorial neurodegenerative conditions. The effects of pesticides and heavy metals on rodents, as well as cellular models of neurotoxicity and neurodegeneration, are some of the other areas of my research. During my research, I have developed a new method for detecting circRNA via the RT-PCR-based method, which has the potential for application in clinical studies and gene expression studies. I also have experience in proteomics experimentation and data analysis. Furthermore, I have been involved in projects including next-generation sequencing data analysis. I also have expertise in conducting bioenergetics assays using a real-time XFP analyzer for assessing mitochondrial functioning
