Sanjay Ahuja

Sanjay P. Ahuja received the M.D. degree from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India, in 1996, and the M.Sc. (Clinical Research) degree from the University of Pittburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2004. He is currently a Professor of Pediatrics (Pediatric Hematology/Oncology) with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, OH, USA. He completed residency in Pediatrics with Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center/Cornell University, New York, NY, USA, in 2001, and Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology with the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2004. He is the Director of the Hemophilia Treatment Center and Dominic Piunno Endowed Chair in Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders with the University Hospitals and Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, Cleveland, OH, USA. He is the Clinical Director of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is well published in the field of hemostasis and thrombosis, and his clinical and translational research program focuses on the development of novel coagulation assays for bleeding disorders and complex hemostatic abnormalities in critically ill patients.
