个人简介
Saloua Sadok, obtained a Master's Degree in Life Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis –Tunisia and her Ph.D from the University of Hull-United Kingdom (1993-1996). Back to Tunisia, Dr Sadok worked as Associate Professor in the ‘Institut National de Sciences et Technologies de la Mer -INSTM’, where she created a new laboratory for Seafood Quality and Valorisation in INSTM –La Goulette. She was awarded the Ensign of the Tunisian National Order of Merit in Education and Science in 2007. In 2011, she became Professor and created the fifth National Laboratory in INSTM called Blue Biotechnology & Aquatic Bio-products (B3Aqua) in 2016 and was responsible for its accreditation (ISO-17025-2017) in 2019. She has over than 20 years of experience in research areas related to aquatic organism eco-physiology, pre/post mortem quality, analytical procedure, extraction of bioactives from aquatic sources and developing new Agro-food products. She is member of numerous national related Committees and is the national pivot for the economy pillar in the BlueMed Initiative. She coordinated several national and international projects as partners but also as leader (BIOVecQ and SecurAqua-and ARIBiotech IEVP Italy-Tunisia program). She supervised more than 20 Masters and 10 PhD students; she is the author of more than 100 publications with 73 in Scopus impacted journals, and has a Scopus h-index: 19.
