Sajjad Baghaee (Student Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey, in 2012, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2010 to 2020, he was a Research Assistant with the Communication Networks Group (CNG), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, METU. He has participated in numerous research projects as a Researcher funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and serves as a reviewer for various IEEE journals/conferences. His current research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), age of information (AoI), future internet architectures, and protocols with an emphasis on age-aware communications.
