Stijn Wielandt

Stijn Wielandt (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in engineering technology, electronics from KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, in 2010 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering technology (electrical engineering) from KU Leuven, for his work on “Indoor Multipath Assisted Angle of Arrival Localization.” He is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), Berkeley, CA, USA. Before joining LBNL in 2019, he was investigating wireless communication and localization techniques as a member of the Dramco (ESAT) Research Group of KU Leuven. In 2018, he received an FWO Grant for a Long Stay Abroad for his Post-Doctoral Researcher at the UC Berkeley Wireless Research Center, Berkeley. His research interests include low-power wireless sensor networks and electromagnetic sensing technologies.
