Shweta Purawat is a New-User Applications Specialist and Computational Sata Science Researcher at the WorDS Center of Excellence, San Diego Supercomputer Center, University of California San Diego. Prior to joining SDSC, she was a design engineer at Intel Corporation. She develops compute and data-intensive workflows and actors for distributed platforms that involve cloud and grid environments. Her research interests include cloud computing, data science workflows, scientific workflow design, large-scale data intensive computing, predictive analytics, and designing core technology tools and applications that act as a catalyst for innovation.
