Career Trajectory
Bio
My research is focused on the profiling, delineation and inhibition of proteases involved in infection and inflammation as well as protease biomarkers. A key programme supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, UK is the identification of putative channel activating proteases (CAPs) which are thought to be involved in the devastating airway dehydration observed in CF. My research has also been actively supported by the MRC, BBSRC and Prostate Cancer UK, Invest Northern Ireland and UK industry.
