Suleyman Akocak

I received my BS in chemistry from the Selcuk University (Turkey). After my graduation, I was awarded a full PhD scholarship from the Ministry of National Education of Turkey. I finished my PhD in medicinal chemistry under the guidance of Marc A Ilies at Temple University School of Pharmacy (PA, USA). My research focuses on the synthesis of isozymes-selective carbonic anhydrase inhibitors useful for detection and treatment of hypoxia-related diseases.
