Suzanne Leigh Doyle

My main areas of clinical research relate to the optimisation of nutritional and functional status in cancer patients during and after curative treatment. As a post-doctoral researcher with Trinity College, I secured HRB funding to conduct a multidisciplinary research project targeting the rehabilitation of oesophageal cancer survivors. I completed my PhD studies in August 2013 entitled "Oesophageal cancer: association with visceral obesity and optimisation of postoperative outcomes". In addition, I have worked on a clinical trial investigating the impact of EPA supplemented feed on postoperative inflammation and long term outcomes following oesophagectomy.
