Salisu Ibrahim

Dr Salisu Ibrahim,from Hadejia, Jigawa State was born on the 26th February, 1967. He attended Sambo Primary School (1980). Science Secondary School, Dawakin Kudu (1985). Ahmadu Bello University, where he obtained Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (1994), MSc (2007) and PhD (2016) degrees. He later picked up a permanent and appointment with Jigawa State Government (1999-2003) as Area Veterinary Officer. In 2003 he transferred his services to Jigawa Research Institute, Kazaure as a Research officer and resigned as Principal Research officer in 2007.He left the services of Jigawa Resaerch Institute to join Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he was employed as an Assistant Lecturer/Clinician at the Department of Veterinary Medicine where he rose to the rank of Associate Professor in 2019. He attended various Scientific conferences both at National and international levels. He is happily married with children and his hobbies are reading and travelling.
