I have a research career of over 50 years, starting in organic chemistry, but mainly in plant physiology (abiotic stress resistance of wheat and maize), with some plant breeding, and now including quantitative genetics (molecular markers), agro-economics, rural development and higher education (Ministry M factor over 780 in 2017). I teach generic research skills to PhD students at Belgrade University, Serbia and advise scientists on writing EU project proposals including H2020 (62.5% success).
