R. M. Sarimov

Ruslan Sarimov was born in Bugulma, U.S.S.R. in December 1976. He received the M.Sc. degree (Dipl. Eng. degree) in radiation physics and dosimetry from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (Technical University), Moscow, Russia, in 2000. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Radiobiology, Institute of General Physics, Russian Academy of Science, Moscow. From 2000 to 2003, he was with the Postgraduate School of Radiobiology, Technical University, Moscow, and with the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Toxicology, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden. His research interests include biological effects and medical applications of electromagnetic fields. In 2004, he was appointed as M.D. Honoris Causa, at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University, Lund, Sweden.
