Rommulo V. Conceicao

Rommulo Vieira Conceição is a professor at the Institute of Geosciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil. He attended a degree in Geology from the Federal University of Bahia (1992), a master's degree in geology from the Federal University of Bahia (1994) and a visual arts degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2007); and PhD in Geosciences by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1999). He has experience in Geosciences, with emphasis on two areas: Experimental Petrology and Geochemistry, and Isotope Geochemsitry mainly on the following topics: geochemical evolution of Planet Earth, heterogeneity of the terrestrial mantle, geochemistry of isotopes, igneous petrology, ultramafic xenoliths and mantle metasomatism, volatiles in the mantle, endogenous cycle of volatile elements.
