M&M: point dendrometer measurements, sap flow sensors, soil water potential measurements, micrometeorological measurements, ultrasonic acoustic emission recordings, bioelectrical signal detection, system analytical modeling, process-oriented tree modeling. Current projects: TreeNet - the biological drought and growth indicator network, ICOS - Integrated carbon observation system, Where is the ecological memory in trees?, When do trees really grow?.
