Rohan Tan Bhowmik

Rohan T. Bhowmik is currently a Research Intern at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Palo Alto, CA, USA, and a Student at The Harker School, San Jose, CA, USA. His recent research projects have included the development of a multi-modal technique for respiratory disease exacerbation prediction based on a novel spatio-temporal artificial intelligence algorithm and local environmental sensor networks, and estimating blood alcohol levels using infrared imaging and machine learning. He is passionate about artificial intelligence, constantly seeking to learn and develop new machine learning techniques, and build applications based on them, especially in the areas of human health and safety. He is a USA Junior Math Olympiad Qualifier, a USA Physics Olympiad Qualifier, and a USA Computing Olympiad Gold Qualifier. He is a Broadcom MASTERS Top 300 Qualifier and has also won top awards from the Silicon Valley Synopsis Fair and the California Science and Engineering Fair.
