One of my research priorities is to evaluate the impact of Early Life Stress (ELS) on immunity and cognition. Important contributions include: a) the assessment of cellular and molecular biomarkers related to immune signaling in ELS and addiction or mood disorders; b) the assessment of cognitive deficits related to ELS and addiction or mood disorders (decision-making, executive functions and memory); c) an epigenetic approach of ELS investigating immunity and cognition in animal models
