Rocio Moreno-Paublete

Currently I'm starting a project in an exciting new area to me as hearing loss could be, working in an excellent and welcoming group which is conducting high quality research at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. My last research job It was in Frances Edwards’s Lab at University CL helping them with histological characterization of various mouse models of Alzheimer´s disease. I am a highly motivated, smart and enthusiastic PhD who always goes the extra mile. And even when the results are not as are expected in experiments, I keep my motivation and work ethic. I enjoy new challenges and I am always eager to learn new skills. After I finished my degree in Biology, I then had the opportunity to work as an Associate Researcher in the Department of Medical Physiology and Biophysics in Seville and to research the cannabinoid system, Parkinson´s disease and schizophrenia, which was submitted for my PhD thesis
