Robin Blume-Kohout

Robin Blume-Kohout received A.B. degrees in physics (Hons.) and English from Kenyon College in 1998, and earned M.S. (2001) and Ph.D. (2005) degrees in physics from the University of California at Berkeley. He did postdoctoral research at Caltech's Institute for Quantum Information, at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and the University of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing, and at Los Alamos National Laboratories. He is now a senior member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM (USA). His research interests are in quantum information science, including quantum estimation, algorithms, error correction, measurement, and decoherence. Dr. Blume-Kohout is a member of the American Physical Society.
