Phaedra Agius received the BS degree in mathematics and education from the University of Malta in Europe, the master's degree in applied mathematics from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and the PhD degree in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. She is currently working as a research associate at Bristol University, United Kingom. She has worked and is working on data mining, sequence algorithms, clustering methods, microarrays, Bayesian modeling, and machine learning approaches with applications to bioinformatics and chemoinformatics. She is a member of the IEEE.
