My experience is in analogue CMOS microelectronics, initially on sigma-delta ADC and DACs, then on readout electronics for CMOS image sensors.
My research interests now focus on CMOS sensor systems based on single photon avalanche diodes for ranging, low light detection and biomedical electronics. I lead a research group of
7 researchers and 5 PhD students at the University of Edinburgh.
