Richard Guest received the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K., in 2000. Since then, he has been a member of academic staff (currently, Reader in Biometric Systems Engineering) with the University of Kent, where he is also the Deputy Head of the School of Engineering and Digital Arts. His research interests include image processing and pattern recognition, specializing in biometric and forensic systems, particularly in the areas of behavioral and image information analysis, standardization, and bioadjust usability.
