I have over 20 years' research experience, much of it investigating the neurobiology of acute and chronic pain states.I have also used my skills to investigate cardiac pathology, regeneration, immunology and stem cell therapeutics to limit damage and improve function after heart failure. I am presently working in a regenerative biology lab investigating the brain/gut axis in Parkinson's disease and the contribution of peripheral nerves to successful regeneration.
