René Reimann

Rene Reimann received the M.A. degree in physics from Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY, USA, with a focus on quantum gases in state-dependent optical potentials, and the Ph.D. degree with Bonn University, Bonn, Germany, with the focus on cooling and cooperative coupling of single atoms in an optical cavity. Since 2015, he has been a Senior Scientist with the Photonics Laboratory, ETH Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland, where he supervises and conducts experiments on levitated optomechanics, especially controlling external and internal degrees of freedom of levitated nanoparticles.
