Renan Barros Domingues

Graduated in Medicine at "Universidade Federal de Uberlândia" (1989). Clinical neurology medical residency concluded in 1993, at "Hospital das Clínicas", University of São Paulo. Obtained doctoral degree in 1997, at the Pathology Department of University of Sao Paulo. Doctoral stage during the year of 1996 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with CNPq scholarship. Professor of the Health Sciences School of Santa Casa de Misericordia in Vitoria, ES, Brazil, from 1998 to 2013, being the cordinator of the following áreas: Headache (2003-2013) and Multiple Sclerosis (2007-2013). Coordinator of the CNPq research group "Multidisciplinary Group of Studies in Chronic CNS Diseases", from 2007 to 2013. Professor of the Neurosciences Postgraduation Program in Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) from 2008 to 2015, supervising master degree and Ph.D. theses. Associated Editor of "Arquivos de Neuropsiquiatria" from 2013 to 2018 and of "Headache Medicine" since 2022. Postdoctoral researcher in Neurology in the "Service de Neurologie et Pathologie Neurovasculaire" "CHRU Université Lille 2". Currently working in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, with the following positions: Scientific advisor, Senne Liquor Laboratory; Chief of the Neurology Section at Samaritano Paulista Hospital and Cruz Azul Hospital; Chief of Headache Clinic and Neurology Professor at Santa Casa de Misericordia de Sao Paulo. Neurology regional director at Americas Serviços Médicos/UHG Brasil.
