Recep Gorgulu

Recep Gorgulu is the founder of the Psychology of Elite Performance Laboratory (PePLaB). Recep’s body of research on the attentional processes underlying ‘choking’ more specifically examining ironic processes of mental control under pressure in performance domains. His research looks at what causes ironic errors, how prior expectations influence skill failure and susceptibility to ironic errors, and the effectiveness of perceptual training for thriving under pressure.
