Currently, I am using dendrochronological and stable isotope analyses to understand the influence of rising atmospheric carbon dioxide, climate change and pollutants on leaf gas exchange in eastern North America temperate tree species. I am also collaborating with colleagues from U Idaho and Indiana U to reconstruct past temperature in eastern North America using blue intensity analysis of tree rings. Finally, we are working to archive dendroecological data on the DendroEcological Network.
