His primary areas of investigation include Spider silk, SILK, Biochemistry, Nephila clavipes and Spidroin. His Spider silk research incorporates themes from Evolutionary biology, Genetics, Gene, Nanotechnology and Fibroin. His research integrates issues of Fiber, Proteomics, Structural biology, Spider and Protein engineering in his study of SILK.
His Biochemistry research is multidisciplinary, incorporating perspectives in Adrenal medulla and Endorphins. His Nephila clavipes research includes themes of Two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance and Chemical shift. His Spidroin study which covers Argiope trifasciata that intersects with Botany and Complementary DNA.
