I am interested in how ecological exposures translate to individual behaviors, and ultimately health outcomes. My doctoral research examines the linkages between climate change, ecology, and dietary intake in riparian communities of the Peruvian Amazon. My specific interests include:
1. Impact of El Niño–Southern Oscillation and seasonality on food security, food prices, dietary intake and nutritional security.
2. Epidemiology of poor pregnancy outcomes (both child and mother);
3. Impediments to optimum infant feeding practices;
4. Quantification of timing of breastfeeding cessation
