Rafael S. Guimaraes

Rafael S. Guimarães received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo (UFES) in 2021, working with Núcleo de Estudos em Redes Definidas por Software Lab. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Information Systems, Instituto Federal do Espirito Santo, Campus Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Brazil. He also worked as a Research Associate with the High-Performance Networks Group, University of Bristol from 2018 to 2020 and was involved in many EU projects. His research interests include network softwarization, network security, network function virtualization, and programmable data planes.
