PhD in Biology with specialization in phytopathology from University of Porto, with a MsC in Clinical Laboratory Biology and a Bachelor in Biology, both from UTAD. Researcher at iB2/FCUP, where the main focus of his work is in phytopathology (namely, molecular biology, genetic characterization of bacterial populations, host-pathogen interaction, assessment of new sustainable coumpounds to control pathogens, microbiome characterization, etc.).
