Renato Volpe

Renato Volpe received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and M.Sc. in Space and Astronautical Engineering from University of Rome La Sapienza in 2014 and 2016 (both magna cum laude). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace Engineering, and his research activities include spacecraft formation flying, GNC algorithms de-velooment and optical navigation mod- elling. Marco Sabatini is a research assistant at La Sapienza University in Rome. He got his Laurea Degree (summa cum laude) in Aerospace Engineering in 2003, and attended a second level Master Course in 2004, with a stage period in Alenia Spazio. He earned the Ph.D. in aerospace engineering at La Sapienza University of Rome in 2008. His major fields of research are complex space systems control, guidance and navigation, robotics and multibody systems. Giovanni Battista Palmerini earned the M.Sc. with honors in Aeronautic Engineering in 1991 and the Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 1996. He is full professor of Navigation and Space Systems at La Sapienza University in Rome. IEEE Member IEEE and AIAA Senior Member.
