The research program in the Domingues lab is focused on reproductive biology and endocrinology using primarily cattle and sheep to study basic and translational aspects relevant to agricultural and biomedical sciences. A central area of my research involves the application of molecular and cellular biology to uncover biological processes addressing the interactions between ovary, uterus, and conceptus during pregnancy establishment and complications (e.x. pregnancy loss, IUGR, preterm birth).
