As a neuroscientist, I am passionate to know more and understand the complex organization of the brain especially the recovery mechanisms following stroke and brain injury, hoping to rescue and /or improve the life of more than 15 million people got injured annually. Currently I am investigating the role of miRNA 182 and cortactin-Arp2/3 complex in stroke recovery, aiming to substantiate them as a probable therapeutic targets.
