Poppy Lamberton currently works at the Institute of Biodiversity, Animal Health and Comparative Medicine & Wellcome Trust Centre for Molecular Parasitology, University of Glasgow. Poppy's research focuses on neglected tropocal diseases, across a range of fields including parasitology, evolutionary biology, molecular miology and field epidemiology. Her main project's include 'SCHISTO_PERSIST: New approaches to characterise Schistosoma mansoni infections persisting despite mass drug administration, funded by her ERC Starting grant, and Cultural, social and economic influences on ongoing Schistosoma mansoni transmission, and the potential for change, funded by a MRC Global Challenges Research Fund foundation Award.
