Pit Losch

Pit Losch currently is an Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut fur Kohlenforschung where he is interested in the synthesis of porous materials and their use in catalysis as well as in the development of mechanocatalysis. He was a Fulbright scholar at Stanford University in 2018. During that time he worked on the development of model catalysts using colloidal metal nanoparticles and tailored micro- and mesoporous supports. He received his PhD in chemistry from Strasbourg University in 2016 with the award of the best PhD thesis at the University of Strasbourg. His PhD work was dealing with the synthesis of zeolites and their application in green chemistry.
