As a research leader I am responsible for technology transfer projects between the university and industry. Coordinating a group of about 10 researchers I am at the heart of innovation driven research with a sound scientific foundation. I am in a position to answer quickly to questions that industrial clients may have and act promptly and with sufficient critical mass.
I am in close interaction with other R&D experts in our 80-headed group, and with many others in and outside the university, to provide you with a wide-angle view of current state of the art of research that is ready for short and long term translation into applications that fit industrial needs. I am currently coordinating several local, regional and European industry-oriented projects.

Specialties: Industrial research project coordination for agro-food and biotech companies and their technology suppliers. Key expertise areas include computer aided design and engineering (CFD, FEA) of agrofood processes and food microstructure engineering.
