个人简介
The main focus of the research done in my team at Institut curie is the use of theoretical approaches based on Physics to understand the organization and dynamics of living matter, particularly at the level of biological cells and cellular tissues. We are developing theoretical models using methods of statistical physics, non-linear dynamics and soft-matter physics, to improve our understanding of the principles governing the organization of cellular processes.
We work in close collaboration with experimental physicists and biologists, at Institut Curie and elsewhere. Topics of particular interest to the team include the active mechanics of cells and tissues and the role of non-equilibrium processes on the inner organization and dynamics of cells, in particular that of cellular organelles.
