Philipp Fischer

Philipp Fischer received the MSc degree in computer science with honors from RWTH Aachen University and was awarded with a Schöneborn prize by the department. During his studies, he was supported by a scholarship of the RWTH Bildungsfonds and went to study at the Imperial College London for one year. Together with his team, he received a computer vision related nationwide competition for autonomous model cars multiple times. In 2012, he joined the Freiburg Computer Vision Group as a doctoral researcher, receiving a scholarship from the Deutsche Telekom Sitftung. His research interest is focused on computer vision and machine learning.
