He is involved in PET-related radiopharmaceutical research and translation of radiopharmaceuticals to the clinic. Main focus was firstly directed to PETlabelled amino acids, receptor ligands for the beta-adrenergic receptor and substrates for Pglycoprotein. Later on, his interest broadened to other PET-radiopharmaceuticals, such as 18Flabelled peptides, receptor antagonists, bacterial infection tracers and artificial amino acids for neuroendocrine tumors.
