Bio

Peter W. A. Roming received a Ph.D. In Physics and Astronomy from Brigham Young University in 1998. He has been with Southwest Research Institute since 2010 and was previously with Penn State University. He has been involved in numerous space- and ground-based instrumentations projects for such programs as Swift, GoldHelOX, Solar Orbiter, Dream Chaser, SCORPIO, and Lucy. He has also led internal efforts at SwRI in the development of instruments and detectors. He is currently the Director of the Space Engineering Department at SwRI.
