My research interest focuses on the development of innovative MR image acquisition techniques and quantitative image processing for interventional MRI. The imaging strategies developed during my PhD period enable MR-guided targeted tumour treatment, which are currently being exploited in a phase II clinical trial on hepatic radioembolization using radioactive holmium-microspheres. I recently received a personal grant (VENI) to further develop my ideas on MRI-guided interventional oncology.
