Pete Beckman

Pete Beckman is currently a distinguished Fellow with Argonne National Laboratory, Lemont, IL, USA, and the co-director of the Northwestern University/Argonne Institute for Science and Engineering, Evanston, IL. He is also the PI for the NSF SAGE project building a national infrastructure for software-defined sensors and artificial intelligence at the edge. His current research interests include artificial intelligence at the edge, smart sensing, distributed sensor networks, and extreme-scale operating systems. Beckman received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, USA. Contact him at beckman@anl.gov.
