Peng Zu(祖鹏)

Peng Zu (M’10) was born Liaoning, China, in 1977. He received the B.E. and M.S. degrees in optoelectronics engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in optoelectronics engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2013. From 2005 to 2007, he was a Research Engineer with Tianjin Kingfiber Optical Communication and Technology Co., Ltd., and later was promoted as a Project Manager. Since 2013, he has been a Research Scientist with Nanyang Technological University. From 2013 to 2014, he was with Temasek Laboratories @ NTU (TL@NTU). From 2014, he has been with Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERIAN). He is the author of more than 40 articles. His research interests include optical fiber sensors and their applications, photonic crystal fiber, magnetic field sensor, magnetic fluid, fiber Bragg Grating, and fiber sensing systems. He holds one patent.
