Pedro Morgado

My research is centered on thermodynamics and thermophysical properties, and I use the tools of experimental thermodynamics, statistical mechanics (molecular simulations and molecular based equations of state), spectroscopy and quantum chemistry to elucidate molecular interactions and structure-property relations, especially on systems involving highly fluorinated compounds and ionic liquids. I am a full (non-permanent) researcher at Centro de Química Estrutural, Institute of Molecular Sciences (CQE-IMS) and an Invited Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal.
